The balance between the sky, earth, and sea. It acts as a kaitiaki (guardian) for the wearer and represents protection and balance throughout life’s journey.

- In this design there are 2 Manaia, for some this can symbolise protection of one person for another. This is also a sign of protection from all directions for the wearer.
