  • Do I need to purchase a giftbox with my order?
Most bone heru and bone necklaces come with a basic cardboard giftbox. However, these gift boxes can be upgraded to a nicer black gift box for an additional $5 NZD if suitable. Pounamu necklaces over $200 and $35 Bone Earrings include a giftbox. Pounamu Earrings and all other Bone Earrings do not come in a giftbox. If you're unsure, it is best to add a giftbox before checking out, they are $5 NZD each and if it is already included, we will automatically refund the amount.

  • How do you ship? Who do you ship with?

We typically use New Zealand Post and send via Non-signature Overnight Tracked Courier. For Australia we use DHL. We endeavour to keep our courier costs as low as possible for our customers so we will sometimes use other mail carriers. Tracking numbers will always be provided.

  • How long does fulfilment take?

Your order will be fulfilled as fast as possible. We do markets all across the country whilst also running 2 physical stores so sometimes there is a delay in getting orders packed but we will always get your order sent out to you or ready to be collected as soon as possible. Please allow up to 72 hours for dispatch. If you have any queries, please call or message us for the fastest response.

  • How long does shipping take?

We usually send via Overnight Tracked Courier within New Zealand which typically takes 1-3 days however this is not guaranteed as there are sometimes delays within the courier systems. Please also allow a few extra days for rural deliveries.

  • Do you ship to Australia?

Yes we do! Unfortunately, DHL  charges us a minimum of $36 NZD for shipping so we have made this a flat rate for all orders to anywhere in Australia. For specific, larger items and orders, additional fees may be incurred as the shipping fee is determined by weight and dimension. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please contact us!

  • Have your products been blessed?

Yes! All our items have been blessed by an Apotoro Wairua but we encourage you to bless it yourself if you'd like.

  • My order hasn't arrived?
We will send you a tracking number which should include a link to the tracking website. If you continue to have issues please contact us and we will do our best to help.
  • The item I received is damaged/ faulty?

Please email us at maoribydesign@xtra.co.nz and we will provide a solution.
