Bone Heru

This Beef Bone Heru is 170mm x 30mm. It is a 4 prong heru featuring paua shell pieces. A heru is a Māori decorative wearable comb, suitable for both genders. A free gift box is also included with purchase.

Meaning:

- The Manaia is a guardian figure that moves seamlessly between the physical and spiritual world. This Manaia depicts the head of a bird, body of a man and the tail of a fish. The balance between the sky, earth, and sea. It acts as a kaitiaki (guardian) for the wearer and represents protection and balance throughout life’s journey.

- The side of the Koru design draws from the unfurling frond of the native silver fern. It symbolizes the continuous movement of life, new beginnings, new opportunities, growth, and harmony. The Koru is a powerful representation of the cycle of renewal and change.
